Das Ras-verwandte Protein Rab-11A ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das RAB11A-Gen kodiert wird. Das durch dieses Gen kodierte Protein gehört zur Superfamilie der kleinen GTPasen, der Rab-Familie, die eine wesentliche Rolle beim Targeting von Vesikeln und Granula spielt. Es ist auf 15q22.31 kartiert. RAB11A ist sowohl mit konstitutiven als auch mit regulierten sekretorischen Signalwegen assoziiert und könnte am Proteintransport beteiligt sein. Zusätzlich kann RAB11A den intrazellulären Transport des angeborenen Immunrezeptors TLR4 und damit auch die Rezeptorsignalisierung steuern. Es wurde gezeigt, dass es mit RAB11FIP2, RAB11FIP4 und RAB11FIP1 und so weiter interagiert.
