Der aktivierte RNA-Polymerase-II-Transkriptionskoaktivator p15, auch bekannt als positiver Kofaktor 4 (PC4) oder SUB1-Homolog, ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen vom SUB1-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen ist auf 5p13.3 kartiert. Der Transkriptionskofaktor PC4 ist ein altes einzelsträngiges DNA (ssDNA)-bindendes Protein, das ein Homolog in Bakteriophage T5 besitzt, wo es wahrscheinlich das schwer fassbare replikative ssDNA-bindende Protein ist. Rekombinantes PC4 funktioniert identisch mit dem nativen Protein durch seine Interaktion mit TAFs.
