Der aktivierte RNA-Polymerase-II-Transkriptions-Coaktivator p15, auch bekannt als positiver Cofaktor 4 (PC4) oder SUB1-Homolog, ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das SUB1-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen ist auf 5p13.3 kartiert. Der transkriptionelle Cofaktor PC4 ist ein altes Einzelstrang-DNA (ssDNA)-bindendes Protein, das ein Homolog im Bakteriophagen T5 besitzt, wo es wahrscheinlich das schwer fassbare replikative ssDNA-bindende Protein ist. Rekombinantes PC4 funktioniert nachweislich identisch mit dem nativen Protein durch seine Interaktion mit TAFs.
