Das Guanin-Nukleotid-bindende Protein-ähnliche 3, auch bekannt als Nukleostemin, ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen vom GNL3-Gen kodiert wird. Das von diesem Gen kodierte Protein könnte mit p53 interagieren und an der Tumorentstehung beteiligt sein. Das kodierte Protein scheint auch für die Proliferation von Stammzellen wichtig zu sein. Dieses Protein findet sich sowohl im Zellkern als auch im Nukleolus. Für dieses Gen wurden drei Transkriptvarianten gefunden, die zwei verschiedene Isoformen kodieren.
