IL3 identifies interleukin 3 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 3562, UniProtKB P08700 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: IL3 is a cytokine secreted principally by activated T lymphocytes and also by mast and other cells. It supports production and differentiation of haematopoietic progenitors and can activate mature basophils, eosinophils and monocytes through an IL3 receptor complex.
