Das Endoplasmatische Retikulum Protein 29 (ERp29) ist ein Chaperonprotein, das beim Menschen vom ERP29-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen kodiert ein Protein, das sich im Lumen des Endoplasmatischen Retikulums (ER) befindet. Es ist ein Mitglied der Proteindisulfid-Isomerase (PDI)-Proteinfamilie, besitzt aber kein aktives Thioredoxin-Motiv, was darauf hindeutet, dass dieses Protein nicht als Disulfid-Isomerase fungiert. Das kanonische Protein dimerisiert und spielt vermutlich eine Rolle bei der Verarbeitung von sezernierten Proteinen innerhalb des ER. Alternatives Spleißen führt zu mehreren Transkriptvarianten, die verschiedene Isoformen kodieren.
