MAPK3 identifies mitogen-activated protein kinase 3 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 5595, UniProtKB P27361 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: MAPK3 (ERK1) is a serine/threonine kinase and a core component of the MAPK/ERK signalling cascade. It transduces extracellular signals to regulate cell growth, adhesion, survival, differentiation and cell-cycle-related responses.
