Die Chymotrypsin-ähnliche Protease CTRL-1 ist ein Enzym, das beim Menschen durch das CTRL-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen kodiert eine Serin-Typ-Endopeptidase mit Chymotrypsin- und Elastase-2-ähnlichen Aktivitäten. Das Gen, das dieses Zymogen kodiert, wird spezifisch in der Bauchspeicheldrüse exprimiert und fungiert wahrscheinlich als Verdauungsenzym.
