Der Zytokinrezeptor-ähnliche Faktor 2 ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das CRLF2-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen kodiert ein Mitglied der Typ-I-Zytokinrezeptorfamilie. Das kodierte Protein ist ein Rezeptor für thymisches stromales Lymphopoietin (TSLP). Zusammen mit dem Interleukin-7-Rezeptor (IL7R) aktivieren das kodierte Protein und TSLP die STAT3-, STAT5- und JAK2-Signalwege, die Prozesse wie Zellproliferation und Entwicklung des hämatopoetischen Systems steuern. Eine Umlagerung dieses Gens mit dem Immunglobulin-Schwerkettengen (IGH) auf Chromosom 14 oder mit dem P2Y-Purinozeptor-8-Gen (P2RY8) auf denselben X- oder Y-Chromosomen ist mit B-Vorläufer-akuter lymphatischer Leukämie (ALL) und Down-Syndrom-ALL assoziiert. Alternativ gespleißte Transkriptvarianten wurden für dieses Gen gefunden.
