CD40LG identifies CD40 ligand in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 959, UniProtKB P29965 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: CD40LG (CD154) is a TNF-superfamily ligand expressed prominently on activated T cells. Binding to CD40 regulates B-cell activation and function and is required for normal immunoglobulin class switching and broader costimulatory immune signalling.
