CD4 identifies CD4 molecule in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 920, UniProtKB P01730 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: CD4 is a cell-surface glycoprotein expressed on helper T cells and additional immune-cell subsets. It acts as a coreceptor for MHC class II during antigen recognition and supports T-cell receptor signalling.
