ANXA7 (annexin A7), also known as synexin, is a calcium- and phospholipid-binding annexin-family protein studied in membrane organization, calcium-dependent membrane fusion and secretion-related cell biology.
Biological function: Annexin A7 is a calcium- and phospholipid-binding protein that promotes membrane fusion and participates in exocytosis. These properties connect ANXA7/synexin to calcium-regulated membrane interactions and intracellular membrane dynamics.
