FGFR3 identifies fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 2261, UniProtKB P22607 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: FGFR3 is a cell-surface receptor tyrosine kinase for fibroblast growth factors. It regulates cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis and has important roles in chondrocyte biology, skeletal development, osteogenesis and bone mineralisation.
