Das Maus-IL3(Interleukin 3)-ELISA-Kit ist ein ELISA-Kit von ELK Biotechnology zur Forschungsmessung von IL3.
Das in diesem Kit angewandte Testprinzip ist der Sandwich-Enzymimmunoassay. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte wurde mit einem Antikörper vorbeschichtet, der spezifisch für Maus-IL3 ist. Standards oder Proben werden in die entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben, dann mit einem biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für Maus-IL3 ist. Als Nächstes wird Avidin, konjugiert mit Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP), zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung gegeben und inkubiert. Nach Zugabe der TMB-Substratlösung zeigen nur jene Vertiefungen, die Maus-IL3, den biotin-konjugierten Antikörper und das enzymkonjugierte Avidin enthalten, einen Farbwechsel. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet und der Farbwechsel wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von Maus-IL3 in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.

Biological function: IL3 is a cytokine secreted principally by activated T lymphocytes and also by mast and other cells. It supports production and differentiation of haematopoietic progenitors and can activate mature basophils, eosinophils and monocytes through an IL3 receptor complex.
