Das PGE2 (Prostaglandin E2) ELISA Kit ist ein ELK Biotechnology ELISA Kit zur Messung von PGE2 in der Forschung.
Dieser Assay verwendet die kompetitive Enzymimmunoassay-Technik. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte ist mit PGE2 vorbeschichtet. Standards oder Proben werden zu den entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben, gefolgt von einem Biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für PGE2 ist. Als Nächstes wird Avidin, das mit Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP) konjugiert ist, zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung gegeben und inkubiert. Danach wird die TMB-Substratlösung hinzugefügt. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet und die Farbänderung wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von PGE2 in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
