Product description

Background

May play a role not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. May play an important role in trafficking of T-cells in thymus, and T-cell and B-cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. Binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Recombinant CCL19 shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. Binds to atypical chemokine receptor ACKR4 and mediates the recruitment of beta-arrestin (ARRB1/2) to ACKR4.

Test principle

This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Human CCL19 antibody. CCL19 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human CCL19 Antibody is added and binds to CCL19 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated CCL19 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human CCL19. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
