Furazolidone Drug is a synthetic nitrofuran antibacterial agent with strong antibacterial activity, which can effectively inhibit the growth and reproduction of various pathogenic bacteria. It is widely used in livestock and poultry breeding to prevent and treat bacterial infections, such as intestinal bacterial infections and mucosal bacterial infections in animals. Furazolidone Drug has a long metabolic cycle, high fat solubility, and strong tissue accumulation. Improper or excessive use may lead to damage to the animal's digestive system and hematopoietic system, and may also induce the generation of drug-resistant bacteria, which affects the safety of animal-derived foods.

Test principle

This kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method for the quantitative detection. It can detect FZD(Furazolidone Drug) in samples, such as pharmaceutical powder, feed, etc. This kit is composed of ELISA Microtiter plate, HRP conjugate, antibody working solution, standard and other supplementary reagents. The microtiter plate in thiskit has been pre-coated with coupled antigen. During the reaction, FZD in the samples or standard competes with coupled antigen on the solid phase supporter for sites of anti-FZD antibody. Then Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each microtiter plate well, and substrate reagent is added for color development. There isa negative correlation between the OD value of samples and the concentration of FZD. The concentration of FZD in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples tothe standard curve.
