TMC(Tilmicosin) ELISA Kit is supplied by Elabscience as an ELISA kit for quantitative analysis. Supplier-listed sample types: Tissue, honey, milk, liver, eggs.

Tilmicosin is a macrolide antibiotic. It is used to treat sheep respiratory diseases caused by Mannheimia hemolyticus. Tilmicosin has strong antibacterial activity against Mycoplasma poultry. At the same time, it can effectively reduce the damage of air sacs caused by human infection of Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Escherichia coli, and improve the feed conversion rate.

Detection method: Colorimetric method;ELISA;Competitive. Supplier-listed detection limit: 0.5 ppb; 10 ppb; 1 ppb; 5 ppb (matrix-dependent). Incubation time: 45 minutes. Format: Microtiter plate with 96 wells (12 strips with 8 wells each).

Test principle

This kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method for the quantitative detection. It can detect Tilmicosin (TMC) in samples, such as muscle, liver,etc. This kit is composed of ELISA Microtiter plate, HRP conjugate, antibody working solution, standard and other supplementary reagents. The microtiter plate in this kit has been pre-coated with coupled antigen. During the reaction, TMC in the samples or standard competes with coupled antigen on the solid phase supporter for sites of anti- TMC antibody. Then Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each microtiter plate well, and substrate reagent is added for color development. There is a negative correlation between the OD value of samples and the concentration of TMC. The concentration of TMC in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
