Das Pig βEP (Beta-Endorphin) ELISA Kit ist ein ELK Biotechnology ELISA Kit zur Messung von βEP in der Forschung.
Dieser Assay verwendet die kompetitive Enzymimmunoassay-Technik. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte ist mit Schweine-βEP vorbeschichtet. Standards oder Proben werden zusammen mit einem biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für Schweine-βEP ist, in die entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben. Anschließend wird Avidin, konjugiert mit Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP), zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung hinzugefügt und inkubiert. Danach wird TMB-Substratlösung hinzugefügt. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet, und der Farbwechsel wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von Schweine-βEP in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
