Technical note
Kreatin ist eine stickstoffhaltige organische Säure, die zur Energiegewinnung für Muskel- und Nervenzellen beitragen kann. Kreatin wird hauptsächlich im Muskelgewebe gespeichert. Es kann Muskelermüdung und -verspannungen lindern, die Muskelelizität verbessern, die Muskeln straffen, die Synthese menschlicher Proteine beschleunigen, Cholesterin, Blutfette und Blutzucker senken und die Alterung des Körpers verzögern.
Kreatin wird durch Enzyme katalysiert, um Wasserstoffperoxid zu erzeugen. Wasserstoffperoxid reagiert mit einem chromogenen Reagenz zu einer rosa Substanz. Der Kreatingehalt kann durch Messung der Änderung des OD-Wertes bei einer Wellenlänge von 515 nm berechnet werden.
