Die 6-Phosphogluconat-Dehydrogenase (6-PGDH) ist das geschwindigkeitsbestimmende Enzym des Pentosephosphatwegs, das für die Produktion von NADPH, den Energiehaushalt, die Wachstumsrate und die Zellviabilität verantwortlich ist. 6-PGDH ist auch mit einer Vielzahl von Tumorsignalwegen assoziiert, einschließlich des Signalwegs des epidermalen Wachstumsfaktors und des Signalwegs des nuklearen Faktors E2-bezogenen Faktors.
Das Prinzip dieses Kits besteht darin, dass das vom 6-PGDH-katalytischen Substrat erzeugte Produkt mit dem chromogenen Agens reagiert, um die chromogene Substanz zu erzeugen, die bei 450 nm die maximale Absorption aufweist, und durch Messung des OD-Werts bei 450 nm die 6-PGDH-Enzymaktivität berechnet wird.
