Cytochrom P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) ist ein Mitglied der Cytochrom P450-Enzymfamilie, das für den Metabolismus von etwa 25 % der Medikamente im menschlichen Körper verantwortlich ist und hauptsächlich in der Leber exprimiert wird. CYP2D6 hat signifikante metabolische Auswirkungen auf viele klinisch wichtige Medikamente, darunter Antidepressiva, Antipsychotika, Betablocker und Schmerzmittel. Es wandelt diese Medikamente durch Oxidationsreaktionen in besser ausscheidbare Metaboliten um. Die Schlüsselrolle von CYP2D6 im Arzneimittelstoffwechsel und der signifikante Einfluss individueller Unterschiede machen die Detektion der Aktivität dieses Enzyms wichtig für die personalisierte Medizin.
Das Detektionsprinzip dieses Kits: Das Substrat wird nach Katalyse durch CYP2D6 in eine fluoreszierende Substanz umgewandelt, und der Fluoreszenzwert wird bei einer Anregungswellenlänge von 390 nm und einer Emissionswellenlänge von 468 nm detektiert, und die Enzymaktivität wird anhand des Fluoreszenzwerts des Standardprodukts berechnet.
