Product Description

Human EDA ELISA Kit PicoKine® is a research-use ELISA kit from Boster Bio for measuring EDA in Cell culture supernatant, Serum, plasma(heparin, EDTA) samples from Human. Use the listed assay range, sample guidance and protocol documents to assess suitability for the intended study.

Human EDA ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human EDA in cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma(heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 15pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.

Ectodysplasin-A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EDA gene. It is mapped to Xq13.1. The protein encoded by this gene is a type II membrane protein that can be cleaved by furin to produce a secreted form. The encoded protein, which belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family, acts as a homotrimer and may be involved in cell-cell signaling during the development of ectodermal organs. Defects in this gene are a cause of ectodermal dysplasia, anhidrotic, which is also known as X-linked hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
