Product Description

Human BCAM/Cd239 ELISA Kit PicoKine® is a research-use ELISA kit from Boster Bio for measuring Basal cell adhesion molecule in Cell culture supernatant, Cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). samples from Human. Use the listed assay range, sample guidance and protocol documents to assess suitability for the intended study.

Human BCAM/Cd239 ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human BCAM in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 15pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.

Basal cell adhesion molecule is a protein that in humans is encoded by the BCAM gene. The BCAM gene encodes a glycoprotein expressed on cell surfaces. It is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of receptors and cell adhesion molecules. When expressed on erythrocytes, BCAM constitutes the Lutheran (Lu) and Auberger (Au) blood group antigens. And this protein may play a role in epithelial cell cancer and in vaso-occlusion of red blood cells in sickle cell disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
