Product Description
TOP2A is located on chromosome 17 and encodes DNA topoisomerase II alpha; combined TOP2A and CEP17 assessment is used in research examining chromosome 17 copy number patterns.
The fusion design is used to investigate spatial proximity or rearrangement between the listed target regions, supporting research into recurrent translocations and fusion-associated cytogenetic patterns.
FISH probes are applied to fixed cells or prepared tissue sections where genomic targets remain spatially preserved, making them useful for molecular cytogenetics research, tumour biology studies and verification of structural or numerical chromosomal changes.
