SS18 Break Apart FISH Probe Reagent

SS18 is a recurrently rearranged gene in synovial sarcoma research and is commonly assessed using break-apart or fusion FISH strategies.

The break-apart design is used to investigate rearrangements involving SS18, where separation of differently labelled probe signals can indicate disruption of the target locus in prepared research specimens.

FISH probes are applied to fixed cells or prepared tissue sections where genomic targets remain spatially preserved, making them useful for molecular cytogenetics research, tumour biology studies and verification of structural or numerical chromosomal changes.
