Product Description
Predicted to be an extracellular matrix structural constituent conferring tensile strength. Acts upstream of or within response to mechanical stimulus and skeletal system development. Predicted to be located in extracellular region. Predicted to be part of collagen type I trimer. Predicted to be active in extracellular matrix. Is expressed in several structures, including cranium; dermomyotome; integument; muscle; and pectoral fin. Used to study Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and osteogenesis imperfecta.
