Activating transcription factor 5, also known as ATF5, is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the ATF5 gene. Involved in several processes, including fat cell differentiation; regulation of cell cycle process; and regulation of transcription, DNA-templated. Located in centrosome; cytosol; and nucleoplasm.
