Product description

ALOX5 (5-lipoxygenase) is an iron-containing lipoxygenase that catalyses key steps in leukotriene biosynthesis from arachidonic acid, generating lipid mediators involved in inflammatory and allergic responses. The enzyme is found in the cytoplasm and nucleus and can redistribute during cell activation as part of the leukotriene-synthesis pathway.

This Boster Bio Picoband® product is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against ALOX5. It is intended for research detection of the 5-lipoxygenase protein in supported experimental workflows.
