L'anticorps polyclonal de lapin HBG1 est un anticorps ELK Biotechnology destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant HBG1.

Contexte

Les gènes de la gamma-globine (HBG1 et HBG2) sont normalement exprimés dans le foie fœtal, la rate et la moelle osseuse. Deux chaînes gamma et deux chaînes alpha constituent l'hémoglobine fœtale (HbF) qui est normalement remplacée par l'hémoglobine adulte (HbA) à la naissance. Dans certaines bêta-thalassémies et conditions connexes, la production de chaînes gamma se poursuit à l'âge adulte. Les deux types de chaînes gamma diffèrent au résidu 136, où la glycine est présente dans le produit G-gamma (HBG2) et l'alanine est présente dans le produit A-gamma (HBG1). Le premier est prédominant à la naissance. L'ordre des gènes dans le cluster bêta-globine est : 5'-epsilon -- gamma-G -- gamma-A -- delta -- bêta--3'. [fourni par RefSeq, juillet 2008].
