Histone H2B (Acetyl Lys24/25) Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die Histon H2B betreffen.

Hintergrund

Histone sind basische Kernproteine, die für die Nukleosomenstruktur der Chromosomenfaser in Eukaryoten verantwortlich sind. Nukleosomen bestehen aus ungefähr 146 Basenpaaren DNA, die um ein Histonoktamer gewickelt sind, das aus Paaren der vier Kernhistone (H2A, H2B, H3 und H4) besteht. Die Chromatinfaser wird durch die Wechselwirkung eines Linker-Histons, H1, mit der DNA zwischen den Nukleosomen weiter verdichtet, um höher geordnete Chromatinstrukturen zu bilden. Dieses Gen ist intronlos und kodiert ein replikationsabhängiges Histon, das ein Hoden-/Spermien-spezifisches Mitglied der Histon-H2B-Familie ist.
