Das PTD (Pentosidin) ELISA Kit ist ein ELK Biotechnology ELISA Kit zur Messung von PTD für Forschungszwecke.
Dieser Assay verwendet die kompetitive Enzymimmunoassay-Technik. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte ist mit PTD vorbeschichtet. Standards oder Proben werden zusammen mit einem biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für PTD ist, in die entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben. Anschließend wird Avidin, das an Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP) konjugiert ist, zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung hinzugefügt und inkubiert. Nach Zugabe der TMB-Substratlösung wird die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet und die Farbänderung spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von PTD in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
