Das rT3 (reverses Triiodthyronin) ELISA Kit ist ein ELISA Kit von ELK Biotechnology zur Forschungsmessung von rT3.
Dieser Assay verwendet die kompetitive Enzymimmunoassay-Technik. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte ist mit rT3 vorbeschichtet. Standards oder Proben werden in die entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben, danach wird ein Biotin-konjugierter Antikörper, der spezifisch für rT3 ist, hinzugefügt. Anschließend wird Avidin, konjugiert mit Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP), zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung gegeben und inkubiert. Danach wird die TMB-Substratlösung hinzugefügt. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet und die Farbänderung wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von rT3 in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
