Das Humane MAOA(Monoaminoxidase A) ELISA Kit ist ein ELK Biotechnology ELISA Kit für die Forschungsmessung von MAOA.
Das in diesem Kit angewandte Testprinzip ist der Sandwich-Enzymimmunoassay. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte wurde mit einem Antikörper vorbeschichtet, der spezifisch für Human MAOA ist. Standards oder Proben werden zu den entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen hinzugefügt, dann mit einem biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für Human MAOA ist. Anschließend wird Avidin, das an Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP) konjugiert ist, zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung hinzugefügt und inkubiert. Nach Zugabe der TMB-Substratlösung zeigen nur jene Vertiefungen, die Human MAOA, biotin-konjugierten Antikörper und enzymkonjugiertes Avidin enthalten, eine Farbänderung. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet und die Farbänderung wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von Human MAOA in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
