Signaling Lymphocytic Activation Molecule 1 ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das SLAMF1-Gen kodiert wird. SLAMF1-Antikörper: Das Signaling Lymphocyte-Activation Molecule Family Member 1 (SLAMF1) ist ein neuartiger Rezeptor auf T-Zellen, der die T-Zell-Expansion CD28-unabhängig verstärkt. SLAMF1 wird hauptsächlich von hämatopoetischen Geweben exprimiert. Berichte deuten darauf hin, dass die extrazelluläre Domäne von SLAMF1 der Rezeptor für das Masernvirus ist und als Co-Aktivator sowohl auf T- als auch auf B-Zellen wirkt. Es wird angenommen, dass es über seine zytoplasmatische Domäne mit SH2D1A und mit PTPN11 interagiert. Mutationen des SLAM-assoziierten Gens können mit der X-chromosomalen lymphoproliferativen Erkrankung (XLP) verbunden sein.
