Maltase-Glucoamylase, intestinal ist ein Enzym, das beim Menschen durch das MGAM-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen kodiert Maltase-Glucoamylase, ein Bürstensaummembranenzym, das eine Rolle bei den letzten Schritten der Stärkeverdauung spielt. Das Protein besitzt zwei katalytische Zentren, die mit denen der Sucrase-Isomaltase identisch sind, die Proteine sind jedoch nur zu 59 % homolog. Beide gehören zur Glycosylhydrolase-Familie 31, die eine Vielzahl von Substratspezifitäten aufweist.
