CD54, auch bekannt als ICAM-1. Das Interzelluläre Adhäsionsmolekül-1 (ICAM1) ist ein Ligand für Lymphozyten-Funktions-assoziierte (LFA) Antigene. ICAM-1 ist ein integrales Membranprotein, ein Mitglied der Immunglobulin-Superfamilie und ein Ligand für LFA-1, ein Beta-2-Leukozyten-Integrin. Dieses Protein ist der Hauptrezeptor für menschliche Rhinoviren. Das ICAM1-Gen ist auf dem menschlichen Chromosom 19 kartiert. Beim Menschen wird die Adhäsion von Lymphozyten an Zellen durch das Protein-Heterodimer CD11a/CD18 (Leu-CAMa, LFA-1) und seinen Liganden CD54 (ICAM-1) vermittelt.
