Der Humane LTB4 (Leukotrien B4) ELISA Kit ist ein ELISA Kit von ELK Biotechnology zur Erforschung und Messung von LTB4.
Dieser Assay verwendet die kompetitive Enzymimmunoassay-Technik. Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Mikrotiterplatte ist mit Human-LTB4 vorbeschichtet. Standards oder Proben werden in die entsprechenden Mikrotiterplattenvertiefungen gegeben, danach mit einem biotin-konjugierten Antikörper, der spezifisch für Human-LTB4 ist. Anschließend wird Avidin, konjugiert an Meerrettichperoxidase (HRP), zu jeder Mikrotiterplattenvertiefung gegeben und inkubiert. Danach wird die TMB-Substratlösung hinzugefügt. Die Enzym-Substrat-Reaktion wird durch Zugabe von Schwefelsäurelösung beendet, und die Farbänderung wird spektrophotometrisch bei einer Wellenlänge von 450 nm ± 10 nm gemessen. Die Konzentration von Human-LTB4 in den Proben wird dann durch Vergleich der OD der Proben mit der Standardkurve bestimmt.
