TNF encodes a multifunctional pro-inflammatory cytokine in the tumour necrosis factor superfamily. This target hub connects accepted names and identifiers with ABMIUM antibodies, ELISA kits and related assay products.

Biological function: TNF is produced as a membrane-associated cytokine and can be released in soluble form. Signalling through TNFRSF1A (TNFR1) and TNFRSF1B (TNFR2) contributes to regulation of inflammation, immune responses, cell survival, differentiation and cell death.
