Technical note
Die in diesem Kit enthaltene Fluoreszenzsonde zielt spezifisch auf Mitochondrien in lebenden Zellen ab, die durch mitochondriale Superoxide oxidiert werden, um eine hellrote Fluoreszenz zu erzeugen. Die bei 396 nm angeregte Sonde kann Superoxid von Supermitochondrien spezifisch nachweisen, und die mitochondrialen reaktiven Sauerstoffspezies (ROS) können auch unter Verwendung der Anregungswellenlänge von 510 nm nachgewiesen werden.
