Product description

Mouse IL33(Interleukin 33) Microsample ELISA Kit is a research-use ELISA kit from ELK Biotechnology for measuring IL33 in Serum, Plasma, Tissue homogenates, Cell lysates, Cell culture supernatant, Other biological fluids samples from Mouse. Use the listed assay range, sample guidance and protocol documents to assess suitability for the intended study.

Test principle

The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse IL33. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse IL33. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Mouse IL33, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Mouse IL33 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

View target guide

IL33 identifies interleukin 33 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 90865, UniProtKB O95760 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.

Biological function: IL33 is an IL-1 family cytokine that signals through IL1RL1/ST2, activating NF-kappa-B and MAPK pathways. It promotes type 2 immune responses and can activate mast cells, basophils, eosinophils and natural killer cells.
