IL-12 p40 is encoded by Il12b and forms part of the heterodimeric cytokines IL-12 and IL-23. It contributes to cytokine signalling that supports T-cell-mediated cytotoxicity, T-helper 1 immune responses and interferon-gamma production during host defence.
Boster Bio EK0932 is a mouse IL-12 p40 PicoKine® ELISA kit. The assay uses an anti-mouse IL-12 p40 pre-coated microplate with a mouse Il12b standard and biotinylated anti-mouse Il12b detection antibody for quantitative measurement of the p40 subunit.
