HAVCR1, also known as KIM-1 or TIM-1, is a type I membrane receptor with roles in phosphatidylserine recognition, clearance of damaged cells and immune regulation. In the kidney it is strongly associated with injured proximal tubular epithelium, where expression can increase markedly after tissue damage; HAVCR1 is also found in immune cell populations and can function as a receptor for several enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.
This Boster Bio Human KIM1 / TIM-1 PicoKine® ELISA Kit is a sandwich immunoassay for quantitative detection of human HAVCR1. Boster specifies an anti-human HAVCR1 pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated HAVCR1 detection antibody and a human HAVCR1 standard for the assay workflow.
