IL7R, also known as CD127 or IL-7 receptor alpha, is a type I cell-surface cytokine receptor that forms part of the receptor complex for interleukin-7 and also contributes to thymic stromal lymphopoietin signalling. IL7R signalling is important for lymphocyte development, survival and homeostasis. The principal membrane isoforms localise to the cell membrane, while a soluble isoform is also produced.
