Product description

HSPB1, also known as HSP27, is a small heat-shock protein that acts as a molecular chaperone during cellular stress. It helps maintain protein homeostasis, supports cytoskeletal integrity and can modulate apoptotic signalling. HSPB1 is widely expressed and is predominantly an intracellular protein, with localisation that can shift between the cytoplasm, cytoskeleton-associated compartments and the nucleus depending on cell state and stress.

This Boster Bio PicoKine® ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of human HSPB1/HSP27. The exact Boster catalogue item EK0881 uses an HSPB1-specific sandwich ELISA format and a recombinant human HSPB1 standard.
