Product description

Caveolin-1 (CAV1) is a membrane scaffolding protein and a principal structural component of caveolae, specialised invaginations of the plasma membrane involved in membrane organisation, trafficking and signal regulation. CAV1 is concentrated in caveolar membrane domains and helps organise signalling proteins within these lipid-rich regions.
