TGF-beta 2 (TGFB2) is a secreted cytokine in the transforming growth factor beta superfamily. It is produced as a precursor that is proteolytically processed into a latency-associated peptide and a mature signalling ligand. Active TGF-beta 2 signals through TGF-beta receptors and SMAD transcription factors to regulate processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, extracellular matrix production and embryonic development.
This Boster Bio PicoKine® ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of human TGFB2. The assay uses a TGFB2-specific sandwich format with a pre-coated capture antibody, recombinant human TGFB2 standard and biotinylated detection antibody.
