OLR1, also known as LOX-1, is a C-type lectin-like scavenger receptor that binds, internalises and degrades oxidised low-density lipoprotein. It is a cell-surface receptor associated with vascular and immune cell biology, including endothelial and macrophage responses to oxidised lipoproteins.
