Product description

Basigin (BSG), also known as CD147 or EMMPRIN, is a widely expressed immunoglobulin-superfamily glycoprotein located at the plasma membrane. It participates in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and has recognised roles in processes including spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation and tumour biology.

This Boster Bio PicoKine® ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of human basigin/CD147. It is intended for research use where soluble or shed BSG is being investigated in cell and tissue biology.
