CXCL13, also known as BLC or BCA-1, is a secreted CXC chemokine that binds CXCR5 and plays a central role in B-cell trafficking and organisation of lymphoid follicles. It is particularly associated with lymphoid tissues such as lymph nodes, spleen and Peyer’s patches, where it helps direct B cells into follicular microenvironments.
